Traditional Moroccan Home Cooking

This course offers instruction on preparing four iconic Moroccan dishes: a salad, a soup, a main course, and a dessert. These dishes are selected in collaboration with our chef on the day of the workshop. Your culinary journey begins with a trip to the local market, where you'll discover the art of choosing and buying the finest seasonal ingredients. After your market visit, you'll return to the kitchen for a hands-on cooking lesson. You can find sample menu options listed here. Prices: Group workshop: 500 Moroccan dirhams per individual. Family or friends who wish to join the meal experience only: 150 Moroccan dirhams per person. A non-refundable 50% deposit is necessary when making a reservation. 10 am: Welcome with a refreshing drink, introduction and commence the souk (market) tour. Around 2:30 pm: It's time to savor the feast! Schedule **Kindly be aware that the duration of classes typically ranges from 4.5 to 5 hours, depending on the dishes selected. MENU APPETIZERS: Selection of Salads: Zalouk - smoked aubergine with aromatic spices Khizou M'shrmel - Marinated carrot salad Shelada d l'barba - Beetroot salad Taktouka - Seasoned green pepper salad MAINS: (Couscous, Tagine or B’stella) , a choice of: Seksou b Sbe3 khdari - Seven vegetable couscous Seksou T’faya - Couscous: with almonds, caramelized onions and raisins Tagine djaj m’kalli - chicken with preserved lemon and olive Tagine b l'khodra: A seasonal tagine featuring vegetables like quince and okra, or wild artichoke and peas, each accompanied by your choice of Chicken, Lamb, or Beef.
